Win One, Lose One On Weekend
(Bradford, ON; November 4, 2013)

The Bradford Rattlers had two games this past weekend. First up was a road game in Toronto to play the Blue Ice Jets. This was followed by a game back on home on Sunday to play the struggling Shelburne Red Wings. Bradford lost then won respectively to sit with a record of 10-4-0 through 14 games.

Cameron Anderson had two goals in a losing effort to the Toronto Blue Ice Jets last Saturday. The Rattlers fell in the game 6-4 final. Three unanswered goals in the second period spelled trouble for the Bradford squad and they could not bounce back. In addition to Anderson, the other two Rattler goals were scored by Willenborg and Jesseau.

Looking to rebound from the tough loss, the Rattlers were back on home yesterday (Nov. 3) to play the Red Wings. Shelburne is the GMHL's only winless team thus far and the Rattlers took this one 6-0. It was goaltender Mike Masucci's first win and shutout as a Rattler. Goals for Bradford included: Popovich, Teglia, Bateman, WIllenborg, Jesseau and Anderson.

The Rattlers have a busy three game week upcoming. Two road games against the Knights of Meaford and Toronto Attack kick off next weekend's action. Before returning home to play their territorial rival Bradford Bulls at the BWG on Sunday, November 10th. The Rattlers have taken both games in shootouts from their fellow Bradford squad and will promise to be a good game. Puck drop is 7:30pm with the game being podcasted online at www.livestream.com
