TWO RATTLERS SIGN PRO IN EUROPE
(Bradford, ON; Sept. 10, 2014)

A pair of Bradford Rattlers have signed professional contracts in Europe for the upcoming season. Two year veteran and former Captain Dino Combar has signed with Lippe-hockey-hamm (Oberliga) while Swedish Defenceman Joakim Lovgren has signed with Vannas HC (Division 1, Sweden).

Gombar is a 22 year old forward from Basel, Switzerland. Dino had a career year with the Rattlers scoring 74 points (31g, 43a) through 42 games. The Oberliga is the third division professional in Germany.

Lovgren joined the Rattlers at the trade deadline last season, helping Bradford on their Russell Cup run. As a defenseman, Joakim had 23 points in 28 games. At 6'2", 195lbs, Lovgren has been put into a position to succeed in professional hockey.
