(Bradford, ON; March 18, 2013)
Sean Werth

The Bradford Rattlers are poised to make their first Russell Cup Finals appearance since 2008 when they won the trophy. The Rattlers took down the Orangeville Americans in four straight games, bringing their undefeated win streak to 52 games during their perfect season. Over the course of the play-offs Bradford has outscored their opponents 96-6.

Illes Gallo leads the team in play-off scoring with 34 points (16-18-34) in just 10 games. Second on the team is Marcus Bergman, who is having a break-out playoff. He has 32 points (12-20-32) playing along side Gallo. Goaltending has been near perfect, with Metz and LoParco recording a combined 5 shutouts over ten games this playoff. Aaron Scott has not returned to the line-up since suffering a hand injury before playoffs.

The Rattlers will need to wait to determine who they will be playing in the finals. Bracebridge and Temiscaming will be entering game 7 Tuesday night. The winner will meet Bradford in the finals with the respective schedule being posted as soon as the game is done.
