Rattlers Snag 3/4 Points
(Bradford, ON; January 21, 2013)

The Bradford Rattlers continued their strong play as of late with two games this weekend. The Rattlers hit the road to Rama to deal with the Aces on Friday, before returning home and hosting the Toronto Predators on Sunday.

Against the Aces, it was a penalty filled affair that resulted in a lot of offence for both clubs. Final score of the game was 9-8 Rama who won in a shootout.  Both Jean-Phillip Bouchard and Aaron Scott had hat-tricks on the evening while Illes Gallo had four points (1g, 3a). DJ Tahbazian had a single aswell but it was not enough.

Bradford bounced back and played a much more disciplined game against the Toronto Predators at home. Goaltender Dominic Nyfeller returned from his loan with a Swiss professional club to lead Bradford to a 5-0 shutout victory. Nyfeller was named first star of the game. Tahbazian had a three point (2g, 1a) night while Pagni, Gallo and Scott all found the back of the net as well.

The Rattlers will play the second half of the Predators home-and-home series next Saturday in Maple Leaf Gardens, the Pred's home arena. Bradford returns home on Sunday to host the red hot Alliston Coyotes. Alliston has won 18 of their last 19 games and is now considered by many to be the Russell Cup favorite. They will pose a good challenge for the Rattlers in what will be an exciting game.
