RATTLERS CONTINUE TO DOMINATE

The Bradford Rattlers are continuing to dominate the 2016-17 Greater Metro Junior 'A' Hockey League. Through 10 games, the Rattlers have won 8 times and only finding themselves on the losing side of the score board twice.
The Rattlers are the highest scoring team in the GMHL, with a record setting pace averaging 8 goals per game. The Rattler's dominating skill and speed are quickly turning heads around the league as true contenders for this year's Russell Cup.
Atop the league player statistics, four Bradford Rattlers find themselves in the top eight of scoring. Stepan Timofeyev (27 points), Nicholas Lang (22 points), Egor Kurbatov (22 points) and Khassan Al-Dzhilaui (22 points) are all amongst league leaders in scoring.
Under the radar, there are is one Rattlers who has stepped up huge this season although not recognized on the score sheet. Rookie defenceman Noah Little has emerged as one of the team's top defenceman, despite being a 99 birth year, Little is logging big minutes on the blue line against some of the league's top forwards and playing well. Little is a product of the Mississauga Sens AAA organization.
After a long break, the club has a busy couple weeks ahead. Three games in three nights on Friday - Saturday - Sunday starting with West Nippissing and then a home-and-home with the Parry Sound Islanders.

RATTNATION NOTES:
The Bradford Rattlers will be without the services of Fwd Nicholas Lang and Fwd Lukas Maros, who have been invited to the Federal Hockey League expansion Fighting Saints club rookie camp. The FHL is a minor professional league based in the Northeastern USA. Lang and Maros depart on the 12th and return following the weekend should they be unsuccessful making the Saints.
Reporting to Bradford this past week is All-Star defenceman Marcus Hedberg. Hedberg is touted as a top defenceman in the league and will add immediate impact to the blue line.
