The Bradford Rattlers have signed two more players for the upcoming season. First, Swiss goaltender Dominic Nyffeler has committed to the Rattlers. And second, Bradford has traded and signed former Bobcaygeon Buck Garrek Skillicorn.
Dominic Nyffeler comes to the Rattlers with a very impressive hockey resume. Dominic has been playing high level junior hockey since the age of 15 in Switzerland. Nyfeller competed in the top junior league in Switzerland for three seasons, before moving into the professional ranks. Dominic split time between the NLA and NLB leagues through the last few seasons. He has also competed for Team Switzerland U16 international team.
Dominic's younger brother Melvin was Switzerland's starting goalie in the IIHF World Junior Championship last December.
The second player joining #RattNation is '94 born forward Garrek Skillicorn. Skillicorn was acquired early Wednesday morning from the Bobcaygeon Bucks. In Skillicorn's rookie junior season he put up 16 points in 39 games. He also had 175PIMs, good for third in the GMHL. Garrek is a product of the York Simcoe Express AAA minor hockey system.
The Rattlers are very excited to of added these players to next year's roster!
