RATTLERS SECURE THIRD PLACE
(Bradford, ON, Feb 9, 2016)

The Bradford Rattlers have locked up third place in the GMHL's Central Division following a dominant 13-1 victory over the Oshawa Riverkings. With a record of 27-11-2, the Rattlers have just one game remaining in the regular season before entering the Russell Cup Playoffs.

The Rattlers are playing the best hockey they have all season. The club is riding a three game winning streak on the back of a pair of Thunder Bay, Ontario boys. Starting netminder Bradley Hampton has won back-to-back starts while leading scorer Devin Fullum is fresh off a six point performance.

In the 13-1 victory over Oshawa, Devin Fullum was named first star of the game after scoring a hatrick and adding three assists. Second star was Nicholas Lang who had a hat-trick of his own and four points. Also finding the back of the net included: Willenborg 2, Al-Dzhilaui, Maros, Brunnberg, Vigar and Hedberg.

The Rattlers embark on their final game of the regular season Wednesday when they team is in Colborne to take on the Chiefs.

Looking ahead to playoffs, the Rattlers will most likely be facing off against the Oshawa Riverkings unless there is a drastic change in the standings. Stay tuned to www.rattlershockey.ca for full playoff details.
