RATTLERS GOING THROUGH ROUGH PATCH
(Bradford, ON, Dec 8, 2014)

The Bradford Rattlers are going through some mid-season troubles after dropping three of their last four -- the latest coming yesterday evening against the Alliston Coyotes.

The Rattlers dropped a close game 4:3 to the Coyotes on home ice Sunday.

Despite the loss, former IIHF World Junior Championship German goaltender Elmar Trautmann was the first star of the game with 43 saves.

Former Sudbury Wolves OHL defenseman Brandon Scott had two goals in the match while Sweden's Kenneth Lindell had a goal of his.

Bradford could be getting reinforcements from within -- with highly skilled forward Gustav Larsson close to a return after a long-absence due to an upper body injury. Larsson had 16 points in 8 games before going down.

The Rattlers are back at it with a road trip to Grey Highlands before hosting Meaford next Sunday.
