REINFORCEMENTS FROM SWEDEN
(Bradford, ON; September 12, 2013)

The Bradford Rattlers have expanded their roster after a recent scouting trip to Sweden from General Manager Johan Lundskog. Lundskog traveled to Sweden last Tuesday and returned home earlier the week bringing three highly touted Swedish players back with him.
Headlining the three players is Jonathan Skoglund. Skoglund experienced a breakout season in Sweden's SuperElite junior league last season. For those unfamiliar with this league, it is the OHL equivalent in Sweden, with several of their top players being selected in the NHL draft. Skoglund has played in the SuperElite league the past two seasons, but scored 38 points (13-25-38) in 44 games last season. He is expected to be a league leader in points with the Rattlers as a '93 born forward.
Filip Andreasson is the second player signed to the Rattlers. Filip actually played in the GMHL back in 2010 with the now defunct Innisfil Lakers, he played in 12 games and notched four points. However, that was when he was just 16 years of age. Now, 20 years old, Andreasson has been playing professionally in Sweden Division 1 for the past two years. He comes to the Rattlers already with Pro experience and will provide some solid depth up-front.
The third player coming over is Johan Beatty. Johan has been playing juniors in Sweden for the past three years. He is a '94 born forward that stands 5'8" and weighs 150lbs.
It was no secret the Rattlers were playing with a shortened bench to start the year. However, with these three players flying over this week, as well as a handful more signings moments away from being announced, Bradford is looking strong for the games ahead. Welcome to the organization!
