Just One More Win.

After 55 victories in a single season, the Rattlers will be searching for their most important one Saturday in Temiscaming. Bradford took last night's game five in the Russell Cup Finals to take an advantage over the Titans 3-2 in the best of seven series.
Bradford won the game last night by a score of 6-3, with an empty net goal. The game was another close fought battle. Alfred Metz was given the start in goal and did not disappoint. Metz was named first star of the game, turning away 44 shots while only allowing three past him. Up front, Sebastian Forslund had a three point night. Conor Smith also was a heavy contributor in the game, scoring a goal and adding an assist. Other goal scorers for Bradford included: Bergman, Thommen, Gombar and Gallo.
It was also revealed during last night's game that Temiscaming's starting goalie Aaron Boyce had suffered a broken ankle during the third period of game three. Which explains why back-up Jonathan Goulet had been manning the pipes for the Titans.
The Russell Cup will be present for game six in Temiscaming. If the Rattlers are unable to win the series Saturday, the final game seven will be played in Bradford on Sunday evening. Saturday's game will be streamed over www.fasthockey.com. Show your support and tune in for #RattNation.
