Andreas Norrby Signed by Laurentian University

Laurentian University has signed yet another GMHL player. Andreas Norrby from the Bradford Rattlers has been recruited to the Canadian Interuniversity Sports' (CIS) Laurentian Voyageurs.
Norrby will be joining fellow Rattler defenceman Nicolas Thommen in their line-up, as well as Temiscaming Titan Marc Alain-Begin.
Andreas was the recipient of the GMHL's Most Valuable Player award for the 2012-13 season. In addition, the Swedish native participated in the 2012-13 All-Star game in Bracebridge and also was named as the league's top defenceman.
This was Andreas' second season in Canada with the Bradford Rattlers. He led all defenceman in scoring with 83 points (25-58-83) in 42 games en-route to winning the Russell Cup.
Andreas had received interest from professional clubs in both North American and Europe, but has chosen to stay in Canada and go to school.
