Neuneker Named New Captain
(Bradford, ON) Myles Neuneker was introduced as the captain of the Bradford Rattlers on June 26, 2011 at the World Hockey Centre. He becomes the team’s 5th captain since joining the GMHL. Team president Bob Russell and Head Coach Johan Lundskog were responsible for the selection and had only positive comments on Myles.
Neuneker, 20, was obtained by the Rattlers in a multi-player trade with the Oro-Medonte 77’s on September 10, 2009. He played in 25 games after his arrival and recorded three goals and 14 assists while picking up 29 minutes in penalties. Overall in Myles’s GMHL career, he has collected 29 points (7g, 22a) in 62 contests.
The native of St. Charles, Illinois was named to the 2009-2010 GMHL young guns team. Neuneker will be a highly touted NCAA prospect this season.
