RATTLERS SIGN KHL DRAFT PICK

The Bradford Rattlers have added a high profile Russian prospect to the roster. Eighteen year old forward Alexei Mashkov will arrive in Bradford later this week and is expected to be a huge addition to the Rattlers roster.
Alexei was drafted in the 2016 KHL Entry Draft in the 2nd Round, #37 Overall to Amur Khabarovsk. Outside of the NHL, the KHL is considered to be the second highest professional hockey league in all of hockey.
Mashkov has been apart of the Amur Khabarovsk youth program most of his minor and junior career. He stands 6'0", 160lbs hailing from Moscow, Russia born in 1999.
Mashkov started this season in the top junior league in Russia, the MHL-A. In the 2016-2017 season, his U18 AAA club was in the Russian National Finals.
