CCHL STAR SIGNS WITH RATTLERS
(Bradford, ON, Mar. 13, 2017)
The Bradford Rattlers have announced their first signing of the 2017 off-season. Star forward out of the CCHL Daniel Martin has made his commitment and signing with the Bradford Rattlers.
Martin is a 21 year old Canadian power forward from Ottawa, Ontario.
Daniel was the leading scorer of the Gloucester Rangers CCHL club last season, notching 37 points (16g, 21a) in 62 games. Martin has spent the last four seasons in Ottawa Jr A and Jr B programs.
Martin brings experience and leadership to the dressing room, having been the Asst. Captain of the Rangers last season.
The last player signed to the Rattlers out of the CCHL was Devin Fullum, who went on to Captain the club, lead the Rattlers in scoring and commit to Lakehead Univ. in the CIS.
Martin was signed by newly hired Asst/Goalie Coach Brandon Billie. Billie had been with the organization since 2015 as a Scout and then 2016 as the Director of Scouting before joining the bench for next season.
The Rattlers have signed 18 players to date, including 9 returning players from last year's squad. Stay tuned to our website for all of the signing announcements.
