Lyaskevich Joins ECHL Main Camp

Veteran three year Rattler Ivan Lyaskevich is attending the ECHL’s Elmira Jackals Main Training Camp. The 22 year old defenceman scored 48 points for the Rattlers over his three seasons.

Ivan is a 6’2”, 212lbs player from Russia. He first joined the Rattlers club in 2008 and stayed with them for three seasons. In his final year, he scored 23 points (6g, 17a) in 31 games.

Originally, after graduating from Bradford, Ivan signed professionally in the SPHL. He now joins several GMHL alumni who are skating in professional main camps in the CHL and ECHL. Nicolas Thommen (Bradford Rattlers) skated with the Fort Wayne Komets earlier last week and Garrett Nystedt (Mattawa Voyageurs) will be leaving for Tulsa Oilers Main Camp this weekend.

The Elmira Jackals are the farm club for the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks.

The Rattlers organization is proud of aided in the development in Ivan’s hockey career. Congratulations!
