The Bradford Rattlers were able to continue their undefeated streak through a home game this weekend. The expansion club Toronto Attack came to the BWG and were defeated 7-4 by the Bradford Rattlers
Conor Smith had a huge game for Bradford, scoring twice and notching an assist enroot to the victory. Smith is now tied for the GMHL scoring lead with Temiscaming Titan Justin Norris at 17 goals. LoParco got the start between the pipes making 27 saves. Nicolas Thommen also dropped the gloves in the second period against Adrian Vasconcelos. Scoring for Bradford included: Smith (2), Norrby (2), Gallo, A. Virtanen and Gurfeldt.
The Rattlers season continues next week with two games. First, an away game on Saturday Oct. 27 in Powasson to take on the Eagles, followed by the usual Sunday home game against the Mattawa Voyegeurs.
Coverage of the Sunday game will begin at 7:00 with “Inside the GMHL” hosted by Bob Bernstein (GMHL Director of Player Development) and Bob Russell (GMHL President). This half hour program reviews news from around the league and can be viewed on the same Livearena.com link used to view Bradford Rattlers games. After “Inside The GMHL” the regular airing of the Bradford Rattlers game will begin with a 7:30 puck drop.
