HOT START FOR POWERHOUSE RATTLERS

(Bradford, ON, Sep 21, 2017)

The Bradford Rattlers, one of the flagship franchises of the highly competitive Greater Metro Junior 'A' Hockey League, are off to a strong start on the 2017-2018 campaign. The club is carrying a 3-1-0 record, tied for first place in the North Division into the weekend.

In his first season behind the Rattlers bench, Head Coach Ric Jackman is doing an incredible job with the talented Bradford squad.

Bradford has collected victories against the Wiarton Schooners, Ville Marie Pirates and rival South Muskoka Shield. The lone loss was a 1 goal match against the Temiscaming Titans.

The key to this year's squad has been balanced scoring from all four lines. Leading the club in points are Dmitrii Caraseni and 2nd year player Oskar Rzekanowski with 2 goals, 6 assists each. Right behind them is Gustav Larsson Flink at 7 points.

Goaltender Trevor Babin has won all three matches he has played in sporting a 2.35GAA and .909save%.

The Rattlers take on the Fergus Force Sunday, 7:30PM at home. Fergus dropped their first match at home earlier this week.
