SWEDE SIGNS WITH NHL CONNECTIONS

The Bradford Rattlers are pleased to of signed '92 D Oliver Gustafsson. Head Coach Johan Lundskog announced the signing earlier today at the World Hockey Centre.
Oliver's older brother Erik has spent the last three seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL. Before that, Erik was the captain of Northern Michigan University in the NCAA.
Gustafsson comes to the Rattlers organization after being scouted at Bradford's training affiliate the World Hockey Centre.
The 5'11" 205lbs defenseman began playing juniors in Sweden at the age of 15. After turning 18, Oliver signed professionally in Sweden's Division 2.
Last season, Gustafsson played Junior 'A' in the States for the Idaho Jr. Steelheads. Oliver was able to lead the Steelheads to a championship last season, warranting a promotion
to Tier II Junior A hockey in Canada.
