FTHENAKIS COMMITS TO OHIO STATE ACHA
(Bradford, ON, June 5, 2017)
Michael Fthenakis has made his college commitment to Ohio State University's ACHA team. Fthenkis spent three seasons with the Rattlers organization, notching 100 career regular season games and 15 playoff games.
Fthenakis is a 21 year old forward from Medford, Oregan standing 6'3", 220lbs and the recipient of the organization's "Most Heart" award for the 2016-17 season.
Michael sits tied for fifth in franchise all-time games played totals. He has left an impact on the Rattlers over the years that will surely be remembered.
"I'd like to thank Johan Lundskog, Sylvain Cloutier and Sean Werth as well as the rest of my coaches, teammates, billets and our owners Bob and Ken for making my years with the Rattlers among the most meaningful of my life. It has been an unforgettable experience playing here and I will remember it for the rest of my life," said Fthenkis. "I'm excited to start playing at Ohio and continue my hockey into College."
