RATTLERS TAKE DOWN SEGUIN
(Bradford, ON, Nov. 10, 2014)
The Bradford Rattlers came out on top in their biggest game of the year, winning 3-2 over the Seguin Huskies in dramatic fashion.
Captain clutch Josh Willenborg scored the game winner with two minutes remaining in the third. Willenborg has made a habit of scoring game-winners, having scored last week against the Bulls.
Two year OHL defenseman and third year Rattlers Brandon Scott was a dominating force for Bradford.
Elmar Trautmann had another outstanding game between the pipes -- holding the offensive powerhouse Huskies to just two goals on over 50 shots.
The Rattlers top forward on the evening was Swede Oscar Lande. With a goal and assist, Lande played outstanding offensively and sound defensively. The 18 year old is quickly establishing himself as a top young forward on the Rattlers and the league.
Finding the back of the net included: Mikko Lindbom, Oscar Lande and Josh WIllenborg.
The Rattlers are back at it next weekend when they host the Sturgeon Falls Lumberjacks. Puck drop is 7:30pm next Sunday at the BWG.
