Bradford has kicked off their 2011-2012 season in perfect fashion. Heading into October, Bradford is undefeated with a record of 5 wins and 0 losses.
The Rattlers top the season standings thus far with 10 points; two points ahead of the defending Russell Cup Champions, Elliot Lake Bobcats.
In their season opener, Bradford beat out South Muskoka in a shootout, and haven’t looked back since. The Rattler’s proceeded to defeat Toronto twice, and Orangeville once before facing South Mukoka for a second time this season. A head fought battle saw the Rattlers edge the Shield 6-5 in regulation.
A solid team effort from all four lines has been the reason for the team’s success. Bradford’s hard work and high skill level have been to much for thier opponents to contain.
The return of Sergey Romanov has only added to Bradford’s dominance. Romanov, now in his third season with the team, notched 55 points in 35 games last season.
