THREE RATTLERS NAMED ALL-STARS

The Bradford Rattlers would like to congratulate three of our elite on being named to the All-Star Game in Meaford, Ontario this January 6th.

Sebastian Hoglund, Austin Grawbarger and Elmar Trautmann have been named to the South-Central Division All-Star Game.  

Despite being named, Sebastian will be unable to attend the game due to his flight back from Sweden is not until January 9th. Hoglund returned to his homeland for the holidays. In his place, Oscar Lande has be representing the Rattlers at the All-Star game.

Sebastian is leading the Rattlers in scoring with 51 points (24g, 27a) in his first North American season. The 21 year old Swede was signed after playing professional hockey back home last season.

In his third GMHL season, and second with the Rattlers, Austin Grawbarger is having a career year with 40 points in 27 games as a defenceman. The 6'3" Newmarket native is known league wide as one of the most talented defensemen in the league drawing interest higher levels of the game.

Former German World Junior Championship Goaltender Elmar Trautmann will be standing in the crease for the South-Central All-Stars. The 21 year old has dominated the GMHL season thus far while having the most positive off-ice attitude possible.

Replacing Hoglund will be first year Rattler Oscar Lande. Lande is 18 years old from Sweden -- in his first 23 games he has notched 31 points.

Also named to the All-Star Game is Head Coach Sylvain Cloutier, who will be an Assistant Coach in the game.
