SWEEP LEFROY: ADVANCE TO QUARTER-FINALS
(Bradford, ON; February 25, 2013)
Sean Werth

Three dominate games against the last place Lefroy Wave have advanced the Bradford Rattlers to the Quarter-finals of the Russell Cup Playoffs. The victories were 7-0, 12-1 and 6-2 during the games respectively. Bradford has extended their win streak to 45 games, but will need to await the completion of the first round to determine their opponent.

Sebastian Forslund has been an unstoppable force through the first series with six goals and five assists through just three games. On another positive note, Conor Smith broke out of his goal slump since breaking the all-time record with a goal in the series. Cody Bateman is also having a breakout playoff; despite only 7 goals during the entire regular season, Bateman has three goals and four points during the playoffs. Captain Myles NEUNEKER played a key component leading the squad through the first round as well.

Still nursing injuries, veteran's Villiam Knap and Aaron Scott did not dress for a single game this series. We will keep you updated on each's status.
