LUND & LEBOCKY SIGN
(Bradford, ON, June 23, 2016)
The Bradford Rattlers have signed a goaltender and defencemen in preparation for the upcoming season. Goaltender Josh Lund along with defender Zoltan Lebocky will be joining the club next season.
Josh Lund, 17, hails from Calgary, Alberta. Josh spent last season at the Edge School for Hockey, an elite athlete prep school based in western Canada. Last season Lund played in 11 games posting a GAA just above four. Lund had also received the All-Academic Award for Edge in the 2014-15 Midget Varisty division. Management expects Josh to continue to develop and contribute to the goal crease this season.
Zoltan Lebocky, 16, was the Bradford Rattlers 3rd round selection, #74 overall in the 2016 GMHL Entry Draft. Lebocky skated in the Slovakian tryout the Rattlers hosted in April, where the scouting staff of the Rattlers immediately noticed Zoltan, drafted and then signed him to contract. The young defender played in the U18 Hungarian and Austria leagues, despite being just 15 years old.
The Rattlers will continue to announce player signings through the off-season, including another five returning players from last year's successful roster.
