2017 GMHL ENTRY DRAFT RESULTS

The Bradford Rattlers welcomed a class of new recruits to #RattNation this weekend at the 2017 GMHL Entry Draft. The Rattlers made 9 selections and a trade with the Temiscaming Titans during the event.
The following selections here made for the Rattlers:
Round 1 - Matt Tozer '96, Aurora Tigers OJHL
Round 2 - Traded to Titans for Hampus Fagrell
Round 3 - Terrance Maclean '97, Ottawa West CCHL2
Round 4 - Traded to Titans for Hampus Fagrell
Round 5 - Traded to Titans for Rights to Gustav Larsson Flink (SWE J20 Elite, Bordens HK)
Round 6 - Kyle Bradley '97, Connecticut Nighthawks EHL
Round 7 - Dmitrii Caraseni '99, Iowa Wild AAA U18
Round 8 - Hendrik Laosma '00, Estonia WJC
Round 9 - Isaac Barr '98, Casselman Vikings CCHL2
Round 10 - Dawson Bly '00, Blyth Academy
Round 11 - Lukas Viklander '99, SWE J18 Elite Bordens HK
Round 12 - Dylan Macdonald '97, Ottawa 67's OHL
"The day was a huge success for us," said Rattlers General Manager Sean Werth, "every player we identified ahead of the draft was still available for us. I expect most of these players to be in Rattler sweater either this fall or in a season's time."
Werth also commented that there were a handful players the club wanted to draft but did not have enough selections because of the trades. These player's names will be released as they sign.
The club had also tendered 12 players ahead of the draft. These players will be released as they transfer from Tender cards to Player Cards.
