BRADFORD SELECTS NINE AT 2012 GMHL ENTRY DRAFT

The 2012 GMHL Entry Draft and annual AGM meeting took place on Sunday, May 13th. All 16 teams were present for a 10 round draft, in which Bradford held the ninth overall pick.
With many of the Rattler’s veteran players receiving NCAA and professional contract offers, Bradford approached the draft attempting to acquire as many young talented hockey players as possible. The Rattlers also looked to increase the North American presence on their hockey club through the draft.
The following players were selected by the Bradford Rattlers in the 2012 GMHL Entry Draft:
1st round - Connor Whiteside (CDN), Toronto Marlies AAA
2nd round - Billy Vida (CDN), St Albert Steel AJHL
4th round - Matt Camilleri (USA), Boston Warriors AAA
5th round - Cody Bateman, Hespeler AA
6th round - Duncan Cameron (CDN), Mississauga Icedogs AAA
7th round - Bobbie Chamberlain (GBR), OHA Mavericks AAA; Great Britian U18 WJC
8th round - Sebastian Andersson (SWE), Elliot Lake Bobcats Jr. A
9th round - Spiro Koskins, Leaside Flames AA
10th round - Mike Lucifora (CDN), Pickering Panthers Jr. A, OJHL
