2017/18 SEASON WRAP UP
(Bradford, ON; March 20, 2018)

The Bradford Rattlers dropped Game #4 of the Northern Conference Finals to the Almaguin Spartans to end their quest for the 2018 Russell Cup Playoff Championship. Although the season ended earlier then all had hoped, it was a beyond successful season with the team having their best season since 2014.

The Rattlers finished tied for first place in the North with an impressive 31-11-0 record. A semi-finals appearance was the deepest the organization has made it in several years.

Along with incredible team accomplishments, several outstanding individual achievements.

Trevor Babin set the organization's 'Single Season Win' record with 22 victories between the pipes this season. More then any other goalie in Rattlers history.

Matt Barrette join's the Rattlers 'Century Club' for playing his 100th game in a Rattlers uniform.

With year end awards, the following players were recognized:
MVP - Cam Neaylon
Most Heart - Adam Briski
Rookie of the Year - Marek Martiska
Most Improved - Gadzhi Kazbekov

The organization is proud of this group of young men on the great season. The team and individual improvements were dramatic and impressive for a team few thought would make these achievements.

We would like to thank all of our supporters, players, staff, billets and scouts for making this season a success. We had an outstanding group of young men with us this season and appreciate all the support helping to make this possible.

Several players will be graduating to Pro and College hockey and we wish those players the best in their futures. Tryout skates will be announced shortly including camps in Bradford (ON) Toronto (ON), Niagara Falls (ON), Detroit (MI), Czech Republic, Slovakia and Moscow, Russia.
