WRAP-UP SUCCESSFUL FIRST SEASON
Alliston, Ontario
March 2, 2014
The Alliston Coyotes have wrapped up their phenomenal first season in the GMHL. After compiling a 30-10-2 record through the regular season and advancing past the Orangeville Americans in the first round, the Coyotes bowed out to the hands of the Bradford Bulls in round two.
Many Coyotes stepped up their contributions for the playoffs. Filip Sedivy lead the club in playoff scoring with 15 points (6g, 9a) in the seven playoff games. Notable contributions also came from Derek Van Ness and Gordy Bonnel who each had ten points.
Looking forward to next season, Alliston has some very exciting developments upcoming. This includes the 2014 GMHL Entry Draft, player signings and community initiatives that will be implemented next season.
The Coyotes organization would like to thank all the supporters of the hockey club that have made the first season in Alliston a great one. Management would like to say thank-you to all of the fans, volunteers, billets, players and staff. We cannot wait to get started on the next season in Alliston!
