DEREK VAN NESS COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY

Alliston Coyotes star defenceman Derek Van Ness will be joining Lindenwood-Belleville ACHA hockey club next season. Derek was arguably Alliston's top d-man last season, leading the club with 86 points (29g, 57a) in 41 games.
Van Ness was the winner of the GMHL's top defenseman award for the 2013-2014 season and was also a GMHL All-Star.
Derek is a 6'3", 190lbs offensive defenseman from Utopia, Ontario.
