The Alliston Coyotes are off to the best start in franchise history. Winning their first four games to open the year, the Coyotes are in first place in the Central with 8 points and a 4 win, 0 lose record.
The latest victory was another dominating score; 8-2 final over the Meaford Knights.
The high power offense was lead by star forward Slava Chegrintcev with six points (3g, 3a). Alliston pounded 49 shots at the Meaford goaltender in the match.
Also scoring included: Chegrintcev (3), Russu, Fisher, Niklasson and Grishatov.
In only 4 games, the Coyotes have scored 43 goals -- averaging over 10 goals per game. On the other side of the ice, Alliston has only allowed 14 goals on the entire season.
The Coyotes will hit the road to take on Orangeville on Wednesday before returning home Thursday, October 1st to host the Meaford Knights again. Puck drop is 7:30pm at the NTRC.
