The Alliston Coyotes are preparing to take on the Oshawa Riverkings in the second round of the Russell Cup Playoffs.
Fresh off a clean 3-0 sweep of the Grey Highlands Bravehearts, the Coyotes have set their eyes on their next opponent.
The Russian duo of Slava Chegrintcev and Dmitri Russu have stepped up huge in the playoffs. Slava has 11 points in 3 games while Dimitri has posted 10.
In the season series between Oshawa and Alliston, the Coyotes won all 4 games. The closest game was the most recent in January when the two clubs went to overtime.
Oshawa will be a good opponent for the Coyotes. The 5th place Central seed has some good talent and will keep the Coyotes on their toes.
Game 1: Thursday, Feb 25 - Alliston 7:30pm
Game 2: Saturday, Feb 27 - Alliston 7:30pm
Game 3: Monday, Feb 29 - Oshawa 8:30pm
