Coyotes Affiliate With the World Hockey Centre
Alliston, Ontario
May 1, 2013
The Alliston Coyotes are already making connections in the hockey community. We are pleased to announce our affiliation with the World Hockey Centre; one of the finest hockey training facilities in all of Canada. The World Hockey Centre (Shelburne, Ont.) has been training hockey players for over 20 years. They have various connections at all levels of play that will not only help to bring talented hockey players to the Coyotes roster, but bring valuable connections when advancing our players onwards to higher levels of play. We will be hosting our inarguable two week pre-season camp at their facilities.
The World Hockey Centre places over 75 players every summer into Junior ‘A’ hockey programs. Every summer, NCAA, Major Junior, European and NHL scouts and guest instructors attend their training programs. They have helped to get 18 players to the NHL, and 100’s to the NCAA.
During our in-residence training camp, our team will receive Intense On and Off Ice Training (2 hours of skill development, 1 hour of goalie practice, 1 hour on ice shooting instruction, 1.5 hours of off-ice training, 1 hour of shooting instruction off-ice, along with 3 meals a day prepared by their chefs. We will also be getting coach bus transportation everyday to and from the rink and all day gym access. The WHC even has a shuttle bus that will even be traveling to the airport, picking up our players and driving directly to the training facilities.
This partnership has already given the Alliston Coyotes creditability and a foothold in the hockey community.
