The Alliston Coyotes gave the defending Russell Cup Champion Bradford Rattlers everything they could handle yesterday evening. Anton Todykov played phenomenal in the goal making 39 saves but the game was lost 4-3 final.
Alliston was playing with a short bench in the match, due to weather conditions on Sunday evening. The three Coyotes to find the back of the net were: Sedivy, Nikitin and Tobolov.
The Coyotes are the sole holder of sixth place in the GMHL regular season standings with a record of 26-10-2. Club point leader and Captain Chris Brown has an impressive 99 points to be fourth in league-wide scoring.
Alliston's next home game is against the third place Bradford Bulls on Thursday, January 30th. Puck drop is 7:30pm and will be one of the most competitive games of the year.
