The Alliston Coyotes handled the Orangeville Americans with ease last week, winning 8-4 final. Lead by Nikita Sidenko's two goal and three point performance, the Coyotes improved their record to 10-8-0 to sit in the middle of the Southern Divisional standings.
Denis Tsaruk picked up the victory in goal. Several different Coyotes found the score sheet on what was a balanced effort from all four lines.
Goal scorers included: Sidenko 2, Chegrintcev 2, Kovar, Rossel, Cunningham and Brask.
In the upcoming five game home stand, the Alliston hockey club will be tested against some of the league's best. The next three opponents are the Rattlers, Ice Jets and Bulls.
The next home game takes place Thursday, Nov. 13th against the first place Temiscaming Titans. The Titans are a perennial powerhouse from the North and will be a close, challenging game for the import heavy Coyotes.
